Accelerant launched the CoatPRO, a new pre-roll coating automation machine, at MJBizCon 2025 in Las Vegas. The CoatPRO is ideal for high-volume, precision kief-coating operations, capable of making 1,200 pre-rolls per hour with a single operator. But the company is keeping the technology closely guarded and won't let you see under the hood.

"Our engineers spent a lot of time, and we want to make sure our customers get something that is a competitive advantage for them," said Grant Schuster, founder of Accelerant Manufacturing. "If everybody sees what we can do, then they can copy it."

Schuster says his new machine produces crisp, repeatable pre-rolls that can be packaged and sold immediately. Admittedly, the demonstration on the show floor was compelling as Schuster would write your name (or initials) on a pre-roll and run it through the machine—it came out flawlessly kief-coated.
