Historically, the majority of pre-roll cones have been sourced from overseas, leaving cannabis operators vulnerable to a host of risks, including international tariffs, long shipping delays, and rising costs. This new facility, which houses the first automated Swiss Cones machines in North America, is a direct response to those vulnerabilities. By bringing production to the U.S., Accelerant provides a reliable, tariff-proof supply option with dramatically shorter lead times.

This initiative is a key part of Accelerant's broader strategy to build a robust, American-made automation ecosystem. The company already manufactures its GrindPRO™ mills in Maryland and its CoatPRO™ for kief-coating in Missouri. The new Iowa facility not only provides a stable supply of cones but also introduces a new level of innovation with its proprietary laser-engraving technology.
